Ebenebe – The New Anam City: A Poem by Anthony Nnalue

4 Jul

A Panorama of natural majesty.

Awe universe in Anam Ogbe, East of the Niger.

A city that explores an outriders reef in a coral river land

With artful aesthetics of Ekpe Aneke, Ologwulogwu and bamboo groove.

A city like twilight realm of coral canyon.

Ebenebe- Ogwuyo, a home where healthy larvae anchor themselves for living and burgeon like tiny volcanoes

Ebenebe-Ogwuyo, the mild mannered bamboo groove and wetland

A vast under sea city in Anam Ogbe

Oh! an incredible wetland, world of bizarre life and beauty with the mightiest

structure on earth built by ANAM PEOPLE and CHIFE FOUNDATION.

Ebenebe-Ogwuyo, the new city with a myriad rainbowed life

On the shore of EZICHI RIVER, lay a clay, sea built of coral sand forested

by seeds, made beautiful by human hand, winds, birds and ocean currents

growing like a sleeping giants amidst a shoal of elegant tilapia fishes

surging forth

I am mouth a gap as I watch talented staff,

create this wonder land.

A city where healthy larvae anchor living and then burgeon like tiny

volcanoes.

Yes! civilization is crawling into Anam

This is time for the future, time for UHURU in Anam

CHIFE loyal to the land that nurtured him.

It’s been a dream come true Googling and finding Anam Ogbe in internet thanks to Chife Foundation. As a poet, I have titles for the land that made me, ANAM, in about two hundred poems contained in my WAR OF THE CONSCIENCE poetic collection. To support your good world, I wish to give you some poems on request for your website.
